Tony possesses more than 23 years of A/E/C experience that includes more than nine years in construction. Prior to engineering, Tony worked as a contractor and ultimately founded his own construction firm. From field inspections to working with challenging clients, his construction experiences helped him to develop a deep understanding of the built environment and improved his ability to quickly identify risks and exploit construction efficiencies on every project. While pursuing his engineering degree, Tony simultaneously studied art history and took studio classes with a focus on sculpture. His work in wood, bronze, plaster, and mixed media later informed his approach to construction, where he focused his attention on millworks and furniture design and was involved in creating sculpted elements for renowned artists for an Art Expo in 2008. As an engineer, Tony has an eye for architecture, and relishes opportunities to design structure to support unique architectural expressions. He has designed and analyzed a variety of structures across the public and private sectors and has served in an investigative capacity on the assessments of many historic masonry structures.
