While at first glance one might assume that the simple exterior design of this home signals an equally simple approach, the reality of this structure is anything but. Our partners at Trace designed this home with an eye towards the ultra-low energy use standard of a Passivehaus, and the deliberate attention paid to airflow and lighting puts the project on that track. Built to honor and continue the history of energy production and usage that the old coal company town of Roslyn exemplifies, this home is the next step in the evolution of dwellings.
