Yakima’s downtown revitalization efforts took a leap forward with the 2015 opening of Cowiche Canyon Kitchen & Ice Bar. The 6,000 SF chic restaurant and bar celebrates food preparation with its open floor plan.
The exposed, natural ambience is reflected in the use of exposed structural steel, board formed concrete, heavy timber framing, along with operable steel framed doors and windows.
Owners of this establishment have deep roots in this eastern Washington community, with a multi-generational history of supplying bread products to Central Washington. Continuing this tradition, the goal was to showcase locally-sourced food ingredients.
