Encompass Northwest Pediatric Therapy Center

Supporting Encompass Northwest’s mission to provide a turning place for families in need in east King County, the new Pediatric Therapy Center in Snoqualmie specializes in physical, developmental, and behavioral therapy for children between infancy and eight years old. The new, light-framed building houses most of Encompass Northwest’s Pediatric Therapy facilities, including exam rooms, play areas, an outdoor playground, and spaces for group therapy. Part of the team from the earliest stages, Lund Opsahl worked with project architect Signal to develop the structural design, which features a partial second story and considerations for the high drifting snow loads common in the area; we saw the project through to completion by providing construction administration services to Abbott, from the soil improvements in the foundational system, to topping out in mid-2021. With its child-friendly atmosphere and details that include a hammock swing, the Pediatric Therapy Center will be a cornerstone of Encompass Northwest’s therapeutic services for years to come.
