Jared has always possessed a passion for both the arts and sciences, making structural engineering a natural fit. He sees structural engineering as the union of art and science, where creativity and technical principles come together to bring structures to life. He values the opportunity to apply creative thinking alongside scientific rigor and finds collaboration across disciplines especially rewarding. Watching a project evolve in real time, from concept to construction, brings a strong sense of fulfillment. Over his seven years of experience, Jared has worked on a wide range of project types, including parks, community centers, retail spaces, high-rises, office campuses, medical centers, and large residential developments. He earned his Master’s degree from Washington State University in 2019.

“Backpacking is one of the many ways I like to spend my free time in the summer months of the PNW. My favorite was the 93-mile trip circumnavigating Mount Rainier on the Wonderland Trail.”
