Nearly double the size of the previous facility, the newly completed Ballard Food Bank provides a space for the group to fulfill their mission of bringing food and hope to their neighbors. The wood frame single story building designed by the team at Graham Baba features a market-style food bank supported by an oversized warehouse with an outdoor staging area for deliveries and drop-offs, and new office spaces for the food bank’s team. Structured around a set-back entry and welcome area, to support a community hub that will provide assistance including VA services, medical check-ups, and access to rental assistance programs.
